Busy Bee

I've been a little overwhelmed with work lately, hence the no new posts for awhile. I have a few commissions happening, another EZ comic almost done, some personal work, and (of course) a new Busty Girl Comic everyday. It's been nice having work to do and I won't lie, actually having money coming in (eventually) will be a nice change. Anyway, enough personal stuff. I made some time to sketch the other nice and played with different styles a bit. Here's a quick piece I decided to keep.

I also finished the BGC t-shirt design last night. I wanted to make a shirt that was more than a logo and slogan. I went with a design that is a comic where the joke only really makes sense when worn by a busty lady.

Busty Girl Comics

About a week ago, I made a comic about the frustrations of being busty and posted it on Tumblr. Apparently, a lot of my followers felt similar frustrations and I was inspired to make a few more. After each comic was well-received, I decided to create a blog specifically for these comics.

I've been pretty consistently posting at noon everyday so hopefully I'll be able to keep this going for awhile.

I'm currently working on building a computer, a solid desktop workhorse, for digital painting and animation. In order to do that though I need to save up a lot. That's why I'm opening up commissions for the time being.

This chart is just for digital sketches/drawings. If you're interested in commissioned pieces for web design or physical printing (such as paintings/tshirt/etc.), this is a different process which I would be happy to discuss via email.

Prothese Redone

I've officially finished my digital redo of "Prothese"! This will be the first of a series of digital paintings exploring Body Modifications (real and potential) in an Art Nouveau aesthetic. Many of these paintings will be recreations of previous acrylic paintings (which you can see by clicking the body modification tag below).

This painting took about two weeks to paint digitally on Paint Tool Sai and all of the textures used are my own. The sweet briar used in the frame has traditionally meant "a wound to heal". The mill city skyline is inspired in part by Lowell, MA. If you're interested in buying a print, please go to my RedBubble store.

 The idea behind this series is to use the widely loved aesthetics of the Art Nouveau movement, specifically the work of Alphonse Mucha, to express the intriguing yet controversial theme of Body Modification. As some of the later pictures will explore, some modifications are to give a person the same physical capabilities as those around them whereas others are intended to heighten inherent physical abilities. And of course, some modifications are purely aesthetic.

So this is the latest WIP for a little while. I'll be tweaking the contrast and saturation levels once it's done but it's about half done at this point.

I'm not completely pleased with the mechanics of the leg yet but I am liking the rest a bit more. 

Ms. Graves

Before Christmas, I was commissioned to do a pin-up. I wanted to give her something a bit more elegant but still sexy.
